Social4Good Partners with Food for Others to Feed our Neighbors

In April, Social4Good set a goal of raising $2000 to feed 20 families for five days and provide 250 elementary school students with weekend meal packs.

 We Exceeded our Goal!

Social4Good members raised $2,200 and donated 162 pounds’ worth of pantry items for Food for Others to help our neighbors facing food insecurity.

At an outdoor, socially-distanced event, members gathered for a lively and informative talk with Alison Padget, Development Director, FFO.  With humor and heart, Alison shared the stories of so many families that are struggling and what our contributions will mean to FFO.  Given their wholesale buying power, our $2,200 donation is more like $8,000 what it would cost us to purchase food at retail.

Special thanks to Team April!  Anne Motz, Diane Dondershine, Sharon Heinz, Victoria Stuppy
